Eye of the Storm by Nancy Glazier Print Signed & Numbered - NGL064PRSNU2030
NOTES: Bison (or buffalo) are one of Nancy Glazier's favorite subjects. Having spent several years in Montana, she is very familiar with their ways and habitat. But that is true of all the animals she paints. Buffalo are strong, powerful animals which require many paint textures in their coats making them interesting to create. "Eye of the Storm" combines Glazier's amazing use of subtle color with strong light and the tension born of two males buffalo coming head to head..

Nancy Glazier bio
Always knowing she wanted to be an artist, Nancy Glazier's grandmother presented her with her first set of oil paints when she was eight. Her delighted father sold her first painting when she was twelve. Her family moved to Wyoming when she was sixteen. Glazier was introduced to Cody Museum muralist, Adolph Spohr, who singled her out for private instruction. Painting is the very breath of her life. While she is painting, Glazier feels complete, joyful, powerful and free. Today, the animals Glazier prefers to paint are truly wild and free. Elk, deer, moose, bear, cougar, coyote, fox, birds from osprey to pine siskin, share their territory with her in the mountains of the Northwest. "My paintings invite you into this world. Journey with me awhile. I will share with you what the eyes of my heart see."
