NOTES: Beauty and the Beast II. In Beauty and the Beast II, Thomas Kinkade envisioned a breath taking romantic surprise. Beast has secretly planned a special afternoon for the one he is falling in love with, Belle. Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts and Chip, have all gone ahead to arrange a romantic picnic in a beautiful lakeside meadow with a majestic view of the castle and surrounding mountains. As Belle and the Beast step ashore, the possibilities of love and romance are in the air. Will Belle fall for the Beast? Will Beast open his heart and believe he has found someone who will love him? Will the two of them be surprised by love? Recently discovered in the Thomas Kinkade Vault, this is the final Disney painting on which Thom worked. Thom's love of this classic Disney film and his vision for moments that might have been between the Beast and Belle, are painted with a captivating wonder that remind us of when we have been surprised by love..

Thomas Kinkade Disney bio

Thomas Kinkade Studios portfolio of Disney artwork captures the beauty of Disney fans’ favorite movies and theme parks. Each Thomas Kinkade Studios Disney movie painting tells an entire story in one image, using the signature style of “narrative panorama”, and each Disney Theme Park painting captures the magic of favorite family memories.. 1958 – 2012 In the very beginning of his artistic career, Thomas Kinkade put his entire life savings into the printing of his first lithograph. Though at the time he was already an acclaimed illustrator, Thom found that he was inspired not by fame and fortune, but by the simple act of painting straight from the heart, putting on canvas the natural wonders and images that moved him most. Throughout his life Thomas Kinkade shared his joy and used his paints in support of hospitals, schools, and humanitarian relief. Though the recipient of countless awards and honors, it was Thom’s profound sense of purpose that his art was not just an accessory, but also a ministry, that continues on as his legacy. From custom images that were sold for The Salvation Army, Hurricane Katrina relief, Rotary International, to donations that now grace the halls of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, the White House, The Vatican, and Britain’s Tate Museum, Thom raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over his lifetime for charity. Thom’s dearest wish had always been that his artwork would be a messenger of hope and inspiration to others – a message to slow down, appreciate the little details in life, and to look for beauty in the world around us. As millions of collectors around the world sit back and enjoy his artwork in their homes, there is no doubt that Thomas Kinkade had indeed achieved his goal of Sharing the Light.
