Layaways are a courtesy offered to our customers by The Collection Shop. purchases of current release items totaling $300.00 or more are eligible for layaway. However, retired items, framed art, sold-out items, and weekly specials do not qualify for layaway. According to the layaway terms you provided, here is a summary of the process:
1. Layaway requires a minimum deposit of 33% of the total layaway amount.
2. The remaining balance is divided into two equal payments over the next 60 days.
3. The second automatic payment of 33% is processed on the credit card used at the time of the order on the 30th day following the first payment.
4. The final payment of the last 33% is processed on the following 30th day, completing the layaway order.
5. Tax and shipping costs are added to the final payment if applicable.
6. Full payment is required to remove the item(s) from layaway.
7. If a layaway is cancelled, the initial deposit will be retained as a restocking fee.
8. Once the layaway item(s) are paid in full, they will be shipped to the billing address associated with the credit card used.
9. The Collection Shop reserves the right to cancel a layaway and retain the initial deposit as a restocking fee if credit card payments are declined.
10. A refund of any payments, less the deposit restocking charge, will be credited back to the customer's credit card used initially.
