NOTES: The Nightmare Before Christmas Harlequin Demon - Joining the other creepy guys and ghoulish gals who populate Halloweentown, the inquisitive and helpful Harlequin Demon does his best to create a Christmas that no one will ever forget. When we first glimpse this ghastly grinner, he curiously questions if there�`s pox in the Christmas gift box Jack Skellington presents at the Town Hall meeting and, later, during the preparations for Christmas, this tentacle-topped monster�`s task is creating horrifically haute couture hats from dead rats and bats. Plussed with pewter hands and neck, this delightfully demonic denizen of Tim Burton�`s The Nightmare Before Christmas joins all the other weirdly lovable Walt Disney Classics Collection sculptures inspired by that frighteningly fun-filled film. Whether it�`s Halloween, Christmas or whatever the season, the Harlequin Demon knows how to scare up some high-spirited hijinks. Limited.

WALT DISNEY CLASSICS FIGURINES - The Classics Collection started in 1992 with three scenes, Bambi, Cinderella, and Fantasia's Sorcerer Apprentice. Many other series have since been introduced. Some figurines are limited, and some have been retired. Some of these figurines have risen high on the secondary market. The figurines are made of porcelain, and the process is similar to that use to make Hummel figurines. Individual pieces are molded, put together, and fired in an oven. Then they are painted and fired again. Each figurine is marked on the bottom, signifying the year it was produced. The marks represent significant milestones in Disney history. The figurines with the first year mark are usually the most desirable.
