Mickey & Minnie in Hawaii - TKMMHAWAII24C

NOTES: Mickey & Minnie in Hawaii. In celebration of the 80-year anniversary of this film, Thomas Kinkade Studios, inspired by the 1937 film, is proud to present their newest painting – Mickey and Minnie in Hawaii as the first painting in the Passport to Adventure Collection. Beneath the rainbow covered mountains, one of Hawaii’s most beautiful beaches has become the party place for Disney’s most well-known cast of characters. As Minnie dances along to Mickey’s ukulele serenade, even the sea creatures draw near to listen. But as Donald and Daisy stroll along the beach and Pluto splashes in the waves, it is Goofy who steals the scene with his perfectly clumsy antics.

The artists have gone to great lengths to incorporate several hidden elements with this painting. Can you find them all?

* Just beneath Minnie’s feet, is a heart carved into the rock with the initials, M+M.
*Speaking of feet, did you notice the hearts on Minnie’s shoes?
*Mickey’s ukulele is his very own, you can tell by the “M” engraved at the top.
*Did you know that the flowers in this piece are all native to Hawaii?
*There is something so familiar about that sandcastle, do you recognize it?
*Goofy, an avid surfer, rides the wave like a pro, and in Goofy footed style.
* While Donald and Daisy frolic on the beach, Pluto races the waves to shore.
* Look closely and you’ll see that there are four crabs in this painting, as well as seven ladybugs. .

Thomas Kinkade Disney bio

Thomas Kinkade Studios portfolio of Disney artwork captures the beauty of Disney fans’ favorite movies and theme parks. Each Thomas Kinkade Studios Disney movie painting tells an entire story in one image, using the signature style of “narrative panorama”, and each Disney Theme Park painting captures the magic of favorite family memories.. 1958 – 2012 In the very beginning of his artistic career, Thomas Kinkade put his entire life savings into the printing of his first lithograph. Though at the time he was already an acclaimed illustrator, Thom found that he was inspired not by fame and fortune, but by the simple act of painting straight from the heart, putting on canvas the natural wonders and images that moved him most. Throughout his life Thomas Kinkade shared his joy and used his paints in support of hospitals, schools, and humanitarian relief. Though the recipient of countless awards and honors, it was Thom’s profound sense of purpose that his art was not just an accessory, but also a ministry, that continues on as his legacy. From custom images that were sold for The Salvation Army, Hurricane Katrina relief, Rotary International, to donations that now grace the halls of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, the White House, The Vatican, and Britain’s Tate Museum, Thom raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over his lifetime for charity. Thom’s dearest wish had always been that his artwork would be a messenger of hope and inspiration to others – a message to slow down, appreciate the little details in life, and to look for beauty in the world around us. As millions of collectors around the world sit back and enjoy his artwork in their homes, there is no doubt that Thomas Kinkade had indeed achieved his goal of Sharing the Light.
